Pilates
Developed by Joseph H. Pilates in the early 20th century, Pilates is a system of comprehensive, whole-body exercises that emphasize breath, concentration, center, control, precision and flow. Each of the more than 500 low impact, flowing movements that make up the Pilates tenet, promotes mental focus to achieve proper breathing, correct postural alignment and smooth execution of the exercise. As a result, your body moves in safer and more efficient patterns of motion, experiencing a greater sense of balance, vitality and posture.
